今日は予習ゼロでレッスンに挑んでしまい玉砕しました Orz
わからない単語が続出で・・・。
先生頑張って説明してくれたんですが、半分くらいしか理解出来ていなかったようです。

Traffic Jam : 交通渋滞
Jam : ジャム / 〈人が〉〈もの・人を〉〔狭い場所に〕(ぎっしり)詰め込む,無理に押し込む
Jar : 壜、つぼ

Traffic って、データ量とか、そういう意味で理解してました。
仕事で、Traffic が増えるとか、集中するとか、そういうやり取りを耳にすることがあったから。
でも、トラフィックとジャムで交通渋滞と覚えていなかったので、、、混乱。
ジャムは「strawberry jam」 っていうでしょ?と言われて、さらに混乱。

Jam には、食べ物のジャム以外にも、押し込むとか、そういう意味があるんですね!
知らなかった~~~ (>_<)

What do we mean by a traffic jam?
By a traffic jam we mean a lot of cars which can't move or move very slowly.

車が動かないのか、そうか、と思って、その意味は理解できたんだけど。
そういう意味があるって知らなくても、落ち着いて考えてみればイメージ出来そうなのに・・・。

焦ってしまって頭真っ白でした。
落ち着いて相手の言葉を聞けるようにならないと。

やっぱり予習は必須だわ。
でも、逆に、予習なしで挑むのもスパルタでいいのかしら。予習なし、復習強化。
DME の受講方法のエントリーあげたばかりだけど、やっぱり悩んじゃいます。
