I'm going to my husband's house.
My parents-in-law's house is in XXX.
It takes 6 hours by car.

概ねスムーズだったものの・・・詰まるところは1回目と同じってゆー、とても残念な結果に ^^;

Is Rome in France or Germany?
No, Rome is neither in France nor Germany, but it's in Italy.

What's the capital of Philippines?
Manila is the capital of Philippines.

Does it ever snow in summer?
No, it never snows in summer.

Is a country bigger than a city?
No, a country isn't bigger than a city.

Do all people remain calm in difficult situations?
No, not all people remain calm in difficult situations,
but some remain calm and some get nervous.

as + 原級 + as + 比較対象

My brother is as tall as my father.

He is as nice a person as his father.

a nice person の形容詞の nice が、副詞の as にくっつく
as nice a person となる

I have as many books as you.

× I have books as many as you.

I don't sing as well as my sister.

~~~~
ということで、Lesson47 の例文は・・・
There aren't as many shops in a village as in a city.
比較の軸 → 形容詞 「many」 + 名詞「shops in a village」
比較対象 → city
「村には町ほどたくさんの店がない」となるわけかぁ^-^
寝坊しましたーーー!
ノーメイクで、なんとか髪だけ整えレッスンに間に合わせました。
あれ?今日仕事じゃないの?って、聞かれたので、実は寝坊して~と言ってみまたら、英文を直してくれましたf^_^;)
I woke up late.
I haven't put make up yet.
寝坊したー!は、I overslept. とも言いますね。
今日のレビューは、結構スラスラ言えたかも!?質問も覚えてられたしね!
あと、この先生は全部のQ&Aの後に「じゃあ、今度はあなたが私に質問してみてー」と言うのをやります。DME は、基本的に答えていくのみだから、少し焦るけど、いい練習になります。
でも、今日はちょっと質問タイムが長かったかもf^_^;)
と言う事で、比較的スムーズだったけど、1ページ半しか進まず。
8月中は無理だとしても、せめて1コマで2レッスン分は進めたいなぁ。
Lesson41
久しぶりにお初の先生だったので緊張ーーー。
はじめましてだったので、久しぶりに自己紹介から。
ちょっと回線が不調で、映像が不安定だったけど、若いけど、落ち着いていて、私の拙い英語によく耳を傾けてくれる先生だったので、リラックスしてレッスンできました。
レッスンは、リクエストしていたので、前回のREVIEWからスタート。
ページ数と、ここからREVIEWでOK? と確認されました。
REVIEWなので、Dictationは飛ばして、次のパートへ。
新しいパートでは、言い直しはほとんどさせられなかったけど、ひとつのパートが終わると、REVIEW TIME ね!ちゃんと覚えてるかな?と言って、そのパートを最初から繰り返しレッスンでした。
今日のパートは、few と little が出てきました。
many,much も、どっちがどっちかわからなくなるのよねー。
すぐに混乱しちゃいます。
2コマ使うと、前回のREVIEWとひとつのパートが終わる感じ。
1コマずつだと、REVIEW を含めて、ひとつのパートに2~3回半かな。
平日は2コマ連続は厳しいので、このペースでやっていくしかないんだけど、今月中にBOOK2が終わるか微妙になってきた。
BOOK2 GENERAL REVIEW が怖いです。
